The FaroArm is a lightweight, multi-axis, portable measurement tool. Constructed of aircraft aluminum, the FaroArm integrates optical encoders, precision bearings and a patented counterbalancing system that allows for infinite positioning freedom and use in any location.
Using the FaroArm in conjunction with the advanced CAM2 measurement software, Penco's staff can utilize the FaroArm for numerous measurement applications such as reverse engineering, compression mold shear edge digitizing prior to welding and machining, production inspection, and statistical analysis and process control.
The FaroArm is designed for use in engineering, manufacturing, and controlling dimensional quality. The Gold Series FaroArm features accuracy as tight as+/- 0.001 with an 8 foot diameter measurement capacity.
